A few of my favourite things...

I'm not much of a sportswoman.  In fact, I'm not a sportswoman at all.  I don't really like sweat or getting sore... jumping around and catching balls or whatever just never was my cup of cocoa... but for some strange reason I end up marrying a man who practically lives for sports... tennis, indoor netball, social b-ball, not to mention he's been a regional rep rugby player and a New Zealand Marist rep rugby player.  Mr C hails from a sport-mad family and they're all really good at whatever sport they play, not to mention his Grandfather was an All Black....
Saturday sports make him a happy Mr C.

So is it any surprise that my kids love sports?

No not really...

...so for winter sports season that's pretty much what we do on Saturday's... Mr C follows the boy around with College (High School) rugby, and I get to run the girls around to their netball games, sometimes we swap but not often...

Watching my kids play sport is one of my favourtie pastimes...  some of the games are so exciting and its really a pleasure to be there to support my junior Silver Ferns and All Black.

But you know what I really love to to do on Saturdays??? Garage sales... and for the last 4-5 weeks I just haven't had the chance to go... but today I did... I brought some beautiful vintage linen and sheets, a couple of vintage dresses and a whole collection of vintage aprons.
Beautiful bargains like these make me a happy Mrs C.

Miss NayNay will use some of these for her cushion cover business... but not the beautiful Thai silk... so beautiful, I can't wait to make a dress out of that one :)
